Thanks Plus, uh, Kansas city chiefs, a tight end. Travis Kelsey is accused of being out of shape due to his jet setting with Taylor Swift all off season and an amazing bachelor nation, Taylor Swift crossover story for you. Plus we have updates from our stranded astronaut friends, still no word on if they're.

listening to the rush hour podcast, but it's one way to kill time while they float in space. Just saying beam us up there, Scotty. Plus, speaking of space, we've gotten alien update and I'm telling you right now, it's out of this world. We'll have all these stories and more coming up next on the rush.

Dancing with stars. Episode two is back tonight and, uh, there'll be the first eliminations. Uh, it looks like if you had to ask me, Anna Delvey might be the one going home. I'm not sure she'll be winning over many voters here in the United States of America and a dancing with a star alum, Maxim Chermakovsky tends to agree.

He says she's not a good dancer. Again, she'll be dancing with her ankle monitor, but look in my eyes, it's not about being a good or bad dancer. It's about having good energy. And she kind of looks like she doesn't even want to be there, which I'm sure is just like sort of a fear based mentality. Maybe it's, um, you know, uh, imposter syndrome.

Although if anyone can fake it, it should be Anna. If you want an ankle brace and sort of like this, damn, this is going to draw attention. And you know, the scandalousness of it all and blah, blah, blah. I mean, man, there's so many other people that you could choose from. You're not a fan. Absolutely not. Who would you choose?

It doesn't matter. You don't, you know, to me, the job, AKA, was a professional liar. You're going to bring that person and say, here's a platform that a lot of people waited their entire actual career, you know, uh, to be a part of, to also get a moment of like a personal story. Here we can say. This is who I actually am.

You know, he's got a point. I mean, look, I've been interested in seeing Anna Delvey on dancing with the stars. Uh, not, not, not because she's a professional liar. I just thought it'd be a cool little redemption story. But when you look at it that way, as, as all of the stories of people that worked hard at their careers and could use the extra boost, all right, maybe we should get her off.

Will I believe anything that this lady says? Absolutely not. She wasn't great. She was very kind of standoffish in a lot of things. You can blame the nerves and say, Hey, everybody's human and this person is not used to that stage. Bullshit. Hold on a second. Didn't she con people into believing that she's like fully fashion this and Social like that and that takes a lot of guts.

It takes a lot of you know It takes a lot of self control to present yourself a certain way, even if you're so nervous I don't buy this. She was nervous stuff. She just, there it is shitty dancer. She just a shitty dancer. I mean, look, yeah, she's the queen of gaslighting, but Hey, we'll have to see. I don't think she's going to make it past tonight's episode.

And here's a good news story. You guys like good news stories here on your Tuesday morning. A missing 10 year old girl was found in. in the woods lost due to a thermal drone, a 10 year old girl vanished into the Louisiana woods. She's back home with her family. Thanks to a thermal imaging drone that tracked her down leading to her rescue.

Uh, you know, you guys know that my transformation into becoming a sucker is complete. Now that I have a child, it's not that I couldn't like feel empathy. Of course, I loved everybody, but. There's just something so scary to think your kid could literally just walk out the door sleepwalking. Like, what? Her name's Peyton.

And the dramatic footage shows the moment the drone locates her. Police say she went missing around 10 p. m. on September 14th after sleepwalking into the woods near her home in Shreveport. She was curled up on the forest floor and appeared to be sleeping when the drone swooped in and found her. With the help of the thermal tech, the drone relayed Peyton's position to police and a search party rescued her and reunited her with her family.

All right. I don't know who the sales guy is for these thermal drones, but, um, you know, when it comes to funding the police, I think more drones and less, you know, weapons of, uh, destruction, right? I mean, this is just crazy. Well, I'm very happy that this story did not end tragically in that she was found.

Uh, the sheriff says Peyton was missing for over 24 hours and was found in a dense area of woods, 300 yards from where she'd previously been spotted on a trail camera. Oh boy. I had these poor parents get them therapy. That sounds horrible to deal with, but good thing there's a happy ending. And speaking of other possible happy endings, a wild bull escaped from the pen.

I guess several wild bulls escaped and one is still on the loose. Listen, I'm all for it. If so, if, if an animal gets out, let them stay free, right? A group of bulls turns the tables on a Massachusetts rodeo. But, uh, Busting out of their pen and turning the parking lot into a thundering stampede, setting off a frantic chase that had everyone running for cover.

The scene was caught in camera in North Attleboro. Uh, maybe the bulls were just kind of heading to Dunkin Donuts kid. You know what I mean? Uh, they were going to swing by Cumbies, grab a Dunkies and head over to the Sox game and ruin them on. Uh, so either way, I hope that one bull is still gone. Go live your life.

Um, attention, Kmart shoppers, uh, the last full size Kmart in the mainland United States is closing and nobody cares. Anyone want to buy cheap luggage? That's going to break down, go to Kmart's last store. And in other news, California governor signs a law banning all plastic shopping bags at grocery stores.

So if you need a plastic shopping bag, my wife has a stash of them in our closet. I, I, you know, for whatever reason, she likes to save things like that. I'm big in every relationship. One person saves the plastic bags and one person throws them out. So whenever she's not looking, I'll throw them out. She also likes to wash in.

This is going to sound crazy to you. Uh, she likes to wash. The recycling before she puts it in the recycling. Is that not insane? She goes, well, they're going to reject it. I go, they're going to reject a, and maybe someone will email me and go, well, actually, Dave, they will, they're going to reject my Coke zero can, because I didn't rinse it out first.

I reject the premise that they're going to reject it. Um, and we have an update. a new, I cannot wait for this documentary, a Vince McMahon documentary is coming out. He slams it as deceptive ahead of its release. He's not wasting time knocking the soon to be released docu series. It's called Mr. McMahon. Uh, it's a six part doc debuting on the streaming giants podcast.

platform later this week, September 25th, I'll be covering it. Oh, geez, that's tomorrow. I'll be covering it and let you know what I think. He said, I don't regret participating in this Netflix documentary. The producers had an opportunity to tell an objective story about my life and the incredible business I built, which were equally filled with excitement, drama, fun, and a fair amount of controversy and life lessons.

Uh, he said in a statement, look, they're going to make him look like a piece of trash, uh, cause you know, in a lot of ways he is, you know, When you start a business where I think a lot of the wrestlers are like freelancers, they don't get healthcare. So anyway, we'll have to see what's exposed in the documentary, but it'll be interesting regardless.

And in our daily Diddy update more unearthed footage of Diddy is coming out now that he's behind the bars in prison, waiting his trial. In 1999, Sean Diddy Combs spoke with entertainment tonight about the sort of parties he likes to throw. Here's what he had to say. Your parties are the hottest ticket around.

They won't even give me a permit for the parties, man. They don't want me to throw the parties no more. We ain't going to stop. We're going to keep on having fun, bringing people together from all walks of life. You're going to hear about my parties. They're going to be shutting them down. They're going to probably be arresting me.

Doing all types of crazy things just because we want to have a good time. You know. Whenever you bring up a different issue, element into people's environment, things that broaden people's horizon. People get intimidated. There's a lot of people out there that feel intimidated by it. It ain't nothing but, but, but break it down racial barriers, break it down generation barriers, people from all walks of life.

Ron Perlman talking to Jay Z, Jay Z talking to, you know what I'm saying? People are like just hoping, I mean, how many celebrities are hoping that they're not going to be mentioned here? It just goes on and on, you know, it's just, It's just like people from all walks of life connecting and getting together, yeah.

Your parties are the hottest ticket in town. I'm dying to get into your party. How does that make you feel? I mean, it's cool. You know, it doesn't make me feel any way special. It doesn't make me feel like a bigger person. It just, it just makes me feel like I know how to throw a party. Well, he certainly does.

A party is now being thrown in the cell block C. I mean, we'll have to see. I mean, uh, you know, innocent until proven guilty. But, uh, you know, you, you kind of wonder like, what are, what are all these charges? You know, they've already kind of presented them, but how much of these parties was just being thrown in.

Innocent people showing up, having a good time versus what they describe as like sex trafficking and whatnot. So it's going to be a wild trial. We, we will sure be covering it. All right. I got a lot of stories to get to. We'll have Joan, the bachelorette, golden bachelorette coming up next. Okay, before I get to Joan, the golden bachelorette, I just love the idea of the, a lot of the advice that's coming out on tick tock from the older generation saying what I would have done when I was 30, if I knew better.

And here's some advice from a 53 year old about what he wishes he did at 40. I'm 53. Here's advice I would give my 40 year old self. I remember turning 40 thinking, I'm old. It's over. The game is over. And I should be an expert at all this. And so I spent my 40s feeling old. What's funny is when I turned 50, it stopped.

I felt very young for my age. I was shocked at how active and great I felt at 50 and how excited I was about the world. So I would go back and say, no, no, no, no. Your fifties are going to be incredible. Spend your forties just like your thirties and your twenties preparing, like keep getting better and keep being excited about all the things that are going to happen to you.

Because I honestly feel like I'm 53 and I haven't peaked yet. I haven't peaked in my career. I haven't peaked as a husband. Hasn't haven't peaked as a dad. Haven't even peaked at the top of my physical fitness. I can still get better there. My advice at 40 would be, you're not, this isn't over. You're not old yet.

You're actually. quite young and keep going, keep preparing because you can easily peak in your 60s. There it is. I mean, look, maybe we all needed to hear that. Just the idea that, uh, age is a number and keep really, keep really taking advantage of life. You know, look, by all means, people can do whatever the hell they want, you know, when they retire.

But I think a lot of people inadvertently shut their brains off when they don't have a passion or anything. Sort of a reason for being anymore. And you hear Gary, uh, V talk about this all the time, which is that you're never too old. You know, even if you're in your fifties, sixties, seventies, heck, you're never too old.

If you want to pursue a new craft or tell a story or write a book, um, And, uh, and, and I just, I just love to relay that to our audience because there is this ageist idea. You know, I remember when I got into acting at the age of 23, I thought I was too old to get into acting because I missed the Disney teen year kind of thing.

And, you know, maybe when I'm 45, I'll think, wow, at 39, I had all the, you know, so there's always, um, going to be this hindsight view of what we wish we had done. So why not start today? And you know what? We are, we're approaching a Q4 of 2024. This is the time to start getting things in order for 2025. I know, believe it or not, it's right around the corner, but don't just randomly willy nilly put together your, uh, your new year's resolutions on January 1st, start taking those actionable decisions and make those changes.

That are going to be the best version of yourself. I promise you it will pay off. All right. Well, speaking of the best version of herself, this is Joan, the golden bachelorette in talking about Gary and his appearance he's going to make on her. You also, you know, we have a little teaser, Gary, he came back.

You sure did. What was that reunion like for you? Had you, had you seen him since the last season? I have seen him, um, we did Celebrity Family Feud. So I saw him at that. Um, I loved having him back. Like he and I are good friends. And so, you know, he was the original Golden Bachelor. He kind of wrote the rule book a little bit.

And, um, I loved having him back to talk through things. He's really, really, really. Gary wrote the rule book, which is get married and make it last for more than a month. He's a good friend and he, um, is a smart guy and he knows how to do this. Leaving it out there. I'm just gonna leave it at that. So you never know, he might get back into the running, maybe?

No, there's no, listen, I'm not saying, I don't know any spoilers, there's no way Gary's gonna be in the running. They do this every year, right? They'll bring somebody back and tease that they're gonna be, no. And again, I'm not saying this as knowing any spoilers, I'm just saying it's my opinion that Gary's gonna come back, offer her some advice, and that'll be it.

Now, of course, there was a lot of unfinished business the way Joan left Gary's season. As he said, he's like, you know, Joan said family comes first, and she was a big one in the running. I kind of feel like Gary Turner was going to pick Joan, to be quite honest, but now she's got her own choices to make. I cannot spill those beans.

The rest of the season, what can you tease? What can we expect coming up for the rest of the season? So, not a drama filled season. So, if you're looking for drama, you might be disappointed, but I don't think you're going to be, because it is filled with such genuine emotion and the, um, the way that we all kind of did it together.

Like, the 25 of us, the 24 guys and myself, like, helped each other through, like, these weird things that we didn't know that we'd be feeling, because you've got to imagine that whoever's there, Got there, you know, or in their fifties and sixties and single, not by things went perfectly in their life, you know, life doesn't go perfectly and something has happened that they are this age and single.

So like, we have those conversations and they're important and I, I hope they resonate, um, you know, outside of bachelor nation and bachelor outside of the mansion and people like, you know, get that it's, you know, it's hard dating at this age, but it's so worth it if you really want to find love that You know, it's worth the, you know, struggles that you go through.

There it is. It's worth the struggles that you go through. I think it's great advice from Joan, the golden bachelorette. Look, I mean, she says there's going to be little drama on this season. After all of the Devon stuff and the, and the serene and Brandon story. And it's like, I think I'm okay after the Clayton Eckerd bull and Crap.

I think I'm okay for a drama free season, especially leading into Christmas. I would like a drama free rest of the year. Well, the election six weeks away. So who knows if we're going to get that, but, um, yeah, we'll have to see. I mean, cause drama is kind of fear based, right? When there's drama, it's based on fear.

It's based on ego. Uh, it's based on the pecking order and the insecurities that exist. The best way to overcome, uh, the fear is to just live an abundant life. Here's a. Quick clip about abundance in removing fear in your life. What would you say is the common denominator for living in abundance? Releasing fear.

We, as humans have a common denominator of fear, fear that we don't have enough, that we're not good enough, that something's going to go wrong, that we're going to lose something. Every day we're cycling through fear. So the common denominator to live in abundance is not necessarily to go get something more.

We have it already. It's all around us. It's to release what's blocking us from it. And usually that block is fear. If you want to step into abundance, learn to release your cords of fear. You know, it's, I kind of look at it this way. When you're in a fear based mindset, you don't get a chance to win the lottery.

The lottery being, you know, the life of your dreams and have that abundance flow to you endlessly. So when you get rid of the fear, You know, like for every day that I'm stressed about something, I'm not able to self actualize the best version of me and what I want because I'm worried about the negative thing that could possibly happen, not keeping my heart open to the positive thing out there.

And I get it. I get it. I've been there before and I've, I've, I mean, working in Hollywood. Are you kidding me? The cynicism because the failure rate is so high. I, everything I've done in life is failure based from standup comedy to acting, to pitching. I mean, even that you're just getting shelled nonstop.

So I know how to take a loss, but I'm here to say, and I'm here to remind my audience. That if you just keep on pursuing life with love and gratitude for all that you have, I really do think you'll keep on receiving abundance. It's gonna be hard to find abundance for the stranded astronauts, but here is their update when they were asked the question, do you feel stranded and let down by Boeing?

Here's what they had to say. Do you feel let down by Boeing and Starliner and the fact that this is clearly not something you planned for your life? Let down? Absolutely not. Not, never entered my mind. Uh, I don't think Sonny's either. And until you mention it, it's a fair question. I get it. I can tell you, um, you know, I thought a lot about this press conference and what I might say what I wanted to convey, and there's no way to convey every single piece of information that needs to be said to understand a majority of the questions that we might get asked.

But I will say this, you know, Sonny's got this shirt on. It's got that nice a meatball. We call it on it, and that represents something that we stand for as an agency. We go beyond. We do things that are out of the ordinary. We send humans to space. And yeah, we're here today on the space station. Even today, this, this operation, this is not easy.

Uh, NASA does a great job, the people at NASA do a great job, of making a lot of things look easy. Going, you know, Sending probes beyond the edge of our solar system going and getting sample from asteroids humans in space And it's a very risky business and things do not always turn out the way you want before we launched We said that we're going to find things that is the nature of test every single test flight Especially a first flight of a spacecraft or an aircraft that has ever occurred has found issues.

That's things that you just cannot think about. So there it is. He's saying, no, I'm not upset at all. Well, cut to six months from now when they still haven't come to get him. Can you imagine his wife? When are you coming home? Honey, I'm stuck in space. Sure you are. Either way, speaking of NASA and speaking of Uh, space travel, according to the James Webb telescope, a city sized object, presumably a spaceship, correcting its course towards Earth.

I'll have this story for you next. All right. The James Webb telescope reportedly sees an object moving towards us. Listen to this. How confident are you that it's true that there is an object detected by James Webb that's headed towards Earth that is massive? Like, how? How confident are you in that not in that information you got from your source more than confident?

It's like I'm weary that this information is being passed around. I don't know if it's true. I know that it is being passed around that I'm confident of But I want to know their motive for talking about this and why it's being like Urgently communicated. Do you feel that information is being weaponized to some extent?

I don't know. It is possible. Is this tied to what Lou was saying on Matt's show? Yeah, it is. You think those two things are the same thing? Is that confirmed or you think it is? I asked and I didn't get a no. I gotta, I can't talk about it. That's so weird, man. Can you say who you asked, like Matt or Lou? Uh, no.

No. I can't say. I mean, it would have to be Lou. He's the only one to confirm or deny that. I mean, that whole conversation was just so weird. There's a whole group that knows about this, Patrick. It's not just them two. Alright, I kind of believed it more until I listened to this. This is a clip that's going viral.

I don't know, I guess there's an alien group chat. Can somebody get me into that group chat? I'm just, I'm not in any fun group chats. I'm in one with my family. It's just me. Boring. Uh, this alien group chat seems pretty lit though. If you ask me, all right. Oh, I promised this story. Let's get to it. This is a bachelor nation, Taylor Swift crossover story.

This is Becca Tilly, who is dating a pop star. Uh, she was in the closet at the time and her partner, uh, got her a chance to meet Taylor Swift. Listen to this. Can we talk about Taylor Swift? Becca's best friend. Taylor Swift knew about you and Hailey before anybody else did? This is actually such a crazy story.

So, my girlfriend Hailey, she's a singer. She was opening for Panic! at the Disco at the time. Taylor reached out and asked if she wanted to perform during her Reputation Tour. I was like, I'm flying out. What are you going to tell me today? When is this happening? And so I fly out there and She goes on stage, performs.

I'm in like the friends and family section with Mama Swift. Like I'm just like, this is the coolest thing ever. I'm like, this is so epic. Hayley and her mom go to Taylor's dressing room with Taylor and her mom. I'm in Hayley's green room. I'm looking at videos. I'm like, this is incredible. Yeah. And my mom texted me and she had known about Haley, like Haley's name, but she was like, do you like Haley more than a friend?

At the same time? On that night? Yes. So I'm like staring at my phone and Haley's security guard comes over and he's like, Hey, um, Taylor wants to say hi. So like, I go in with the most heavy feeling because I'm like, I'm about to meet My favorite celebrity ever and I have to come out to my mom tonight like it was just so this like crazy balance So crazy, she's so you've met her.

She's so She's the best normal. She's so like, um intentional like when she's having a conversation It's very like you're the person she's talking to she doesn't care what's going on And then I had to go on hayley's bus and have a very hard conversation with my mom Well, I guess it shouldn't be hard. I hope her mom was accepting of her, but either way, crazy story.

You know, I've got a funny story of meeting Nick Lachey and my wife and my wife's sister fangirled so hard. They got so nervous. It's the fun. It was the funniest I ever saw. Cause it's like, it's okay. It's Nick Lachey. It's not like, you know, it wasn't like a Taylor Swift level. It was like, all right, the guy from 98 degrees.

Whoa. Big deal. But either way, it's funny. You never know how you're going to act when you meet someone like famous or a celebrity. Yeah. I can only imagine that's how my listeners feel when they meet me. I'm kidding. Either way. Uh, you know, these meet and greets they do at the Taylor Swift shows, they get fine dining.

And now we have some people wondering if, you know, Travis Kelsey, uh, partied a little bit too hard in the off season and he might be out of shape. We're not allowed to say that he's out of shape, that he's been partying all off season. He's been jet setting around with his, the most famous person probably in the entire world.

So the coverage and the respect he gets is the same. The athlete is not now. Is he going to work himself into shape during the season? Yeah, I'm sure he will. He's he's unbelievable competitor. He's one of the best to ever do it. How funny is this? Can you, can you imagine Travis finds love an hour? You're wondering if he gained too much weight while he was hanging out with his girlfriend.

Hey, that's what happened. You get a girlfriend, you gain weight. That's just like the universe's way of saying you're no longer single. Put the six pack away. Not that I ever had one, but dad bought is in full effect. All right, folks. Well, we're going to have a lot to talk about today, so stick with me. I'll be on Patreon at patreon.
